Celebrate Holi with Chahat Tewani
and W Korea
19 March 2025
As South Korea continues to emerge as an epicenter for cultural exportation, intersections, and engagement, W Korea is excited to partner with Holi Hai 2025 in Chuncheon, South Korea, on March 15th and 16th, coordinating with the Embassy of India and other tourist organizations in Korea to celebrate Holi along with receiving support from the Indian Students and Researchers in Korea (ISRK). It is hosted by the Indians in Korea (IIK) and sponsored by the Gangwon Tourism Organisation and Chuncheon City. Holi, known as the Festival of Colors, Love, and Spring, is a Hindu festival that entails throwing colored water and powders at one another, celebrating the divine love of the deities Radha and Krishna. It is celebrated at the start of spring, which signifies the season of hope and new beginnings.

Holi Hai 2025: Special Guest, Chahat Tewani
Since its 2011 erection in Busan, Holi Hai has spread across Miryang, Busan, and Nami Island. It features color throwing, live performances, and a blend of Korean and Indian celebrations, promoting unity, friendship, and the intersections between the two cultures. By engaging in this cultural celebration, the festival reproduces the same environment, feelings, and cultural authenticity as many tourists and citizens’ homelands.
This year’s festival, W Korea, is working with Chahat Tewani, an IMDb-listed actress, model, and social media influencer, amassing a following of over 2 million and a decade of experience in various TV shows, films, and web series, including Kesari Nandan, Jee Karda, Rashmi Rocket, and more. As a K-pop enthusiast, she utilizes dance covers to showcase her passion and connect with her fans worldwide, being trained and skilled in western dance. Since her debut as a child actress, Tewani has won Best Child Actress (Bharat Icon Award 2022), Influencer Award by Junior Miss India in 2023, and a YouTube Silver Play Button.

Tewani will return to Korea in June for more projects and collaborations with W Korea to further international cultural exchanges between India and Korea, reinforcing our relationship with the nation and dedication to promoting engagement between cultures through celebration, food, dance, and more. She hopes to become a K-Pop idol and looks forward to working in the Korean entertainment industry as an actor, model, and influencer. We hope to continue these efforts through planning and coordinating for Diwali in October 2025.
